| The National Museum: |

situated on the road driving into Banjul, it exhibits the historical artefacts
of the Gambia and has a pictorial history from the colonial era to the present
day. |

| The Arch 22: |

it is quite
impossible to miss it when entering Banjul as you see it looming upon you at the
decisive junction. It is a monument of 35 metres high which was erected to
commemorate the take over by the Arm Forces by present president, Yahya Jammeh.
Inside the monument is an exhibition hall where some cultural and historical
artefacts are displayed. Right on the top, one can get a bird’s eye view of
the capital |

| The Katchically Crocodile

it is a wide pool where about 50 crocodiles live. The most popular
among the crocodiles is Charlie which allows being caressed! Unbelievable but
true! The crocodiles are not dangerous. They do have a history as it is believed
they are connected to an African religious cult that has disappeared some time
in the history of the country. Today it is an attractive tourist site. A museum
is being built just around the corner.

| The Bijilo Forest Park: |

situated around the Senegambia area, this park covers 51 hectares and monkeys
are the host to those guests who brave it. One will also find more than forty
varieties of trees. A wonderful and soothing walk to take! |
